Safety in timber transport and handling

Drivers, equipment operators, site operators and business partners work together during timber loading and unloading. Safe operations require knowledge of the specific site rules and the risks of all activities involved.

Before the first job, please read the documents below and provide us with the risks and preventive measures relating to your work and site. You may email the documents as attachments or send a specific written summary.

Mutual exchange of risk information

Send risk information and confirmation of receipt to bozp@silvatica.cz. State the company, company registration number, name and role of the confirming person, the job number if known, and the version received. Also confirm that your affected workers and subcontractors will be informed before work starts.

Each loading and unloading operation has its own local conditions. Before starting, agree who directs handling, where people wait safely and how to communicate. Notify us of a new carrier or changes in conditions before arrival.
