Regions: South Bohemia, Central Bohemia and Vysočina.

This role is suitable for experienced traders as well as recent graduates in forestry and wood-related subjects.

Timber truck driver, with or without a loader crane

Monday to Friday, with weekends off.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading roundwood in forests, at sawmills and at railway terminals
• Looking after the assigned vehicle
• Keeping material and transport records

What we expect

• Experience operating a hydraulic loader crane is required
• Care, reliability, independence and practical problem-solving skills
• Good communication and flexibility
• At least a completed vocational qualification
• A category C + E driving licence
• A professional driver qualification and crane operator certificate are an advantage; these can be arranged if needed
• Willingness to stay overnight in the cab

If both parties wish to proceed, applicants will need to provide a criminal record extract and a driving penalty points record.

Timber yard manager

Region: West Bohemia, around Bor u Tachova and Horšovský Týn.

Responsibilities

• Managing the timber yard
• Organising firewood production, sales and distribution
• Maintaining buildings and yard equipment and arranging repairs

What we expect

• Previous experience in the timber or forestry sector
• Care, independence and responsibility for assigned work and projects
• Professional conduct, communication and flexibility
• At least completed secondary education, a school-leaving examination is not required
• Conversational German is an advantage
• Computer skills and a category B driving licence
